High profile cricketers battle it out for the Matador BBQs Cup

“We are excited to once again welcome Australia’s elite cricketers to Drummoyne Oval this October,” Mayor McCaffrey said.

The tournament which will be broadcast live on the Nine Network, features some of Australia’s best cricketing talent alongside up and coming superstars playing in day and day-night matches from Wednesday, 12 October.

“We have previously hosted other cricket matches at Drummoyne Oval led by Cricket Australia and we’re looking forward to once again welcoming the Matador Cup.

“Drummoyne Oval is a first-class sporting field and we’re honoured that various sporting codes are recognising this and choosing to play their sport in our backyard,” Mayor McCaffrey said.

Drummoyne Oval will host four matches in October:

          Entry for these games is only $10 for adults, $5 for concession and free for children 15 years and under.
