The Youth Space and Youth Drop In programs for youth in Years 6-12, provide a safe and friendly environment for young people to connect with their peers during school terms. These sessions are fully supervised by at least two staff members and are a drug and alcohol free service.
These programs are run according to a set of Youth Outreach Program Guidelines to ensure a safe space for all youth to chill out. The names and addresses of the youth are not recorded and they are free to exit the program at any time.

Multicultural storytimes are an interactive mix of songs, stories and craft in Korean and Mandarin & Cantonese languages for children aged 3-4 years and their parents and carers.
Mandarin and Cantonese language sessions are run every second Monday from 10-11am - will re-commence soon.

This exhibition will showcase past Olympians associated with the Drummoyne Swimming Pool from the 1920s to the 1970s.
It will draw on original photographs donated by the Drummoyne Amateur Swimming Club to our Local Studies collection in March this year.
The photographs include some particularly fine images of Olympians taken by well known photographer Ern McQuillan. They also picture famous coaches Harry Gallagher and Forbes Carlile and their training methods during the 1950s and 1960s.
Discover the ten famous Olympian swimmers who either lived, trained or celebrated their achievements in your neighbourhood.
This year marks the 120th anniversary of KU Children's Services, which established the first child care service in Australia.
To commemorate this significant milestone, KU Children's Services has commissioned a travelling exhibition showcasing the history of early education in this country.
The exhibition includes photographs and narratives documenting early education in Australia over the past 120 years.
Links to mobile accessible and web-based content provides opportunities for the public to engage with the exhibition and share the story with others.
City of Canada Bay libraries are proud to host this traveling exhibition at both, Concord Library and Five Dock Library.

To help you prepare for the final HSC exams, Concord Library is holding a mock exam to replicate what to expect within an exam situation.
Students are encouraged to use this great opportunity to evaluate their allocation of time within an exam like situation. Please bring along your chosen past paper and authorised materials (e.g. approved calculator) for your chosen exam. Select past papers will be provided on the day for the following subjects: Legal Studies, Studies of Religion, Business Studies, Ancient History, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Note: Library staff will not be evaluating the completed exam, students are instead encouraged to have it reviewed at by a suitable teacher or tutor.

The collection can now be borrowed with a core collection for use within the library only. Only two schools collection items can be borrowed per card with a three-week loan and no renewal.

Come along to Concord or Five Dock Library for a 'Wrap with Love' get together. Wrap with Love is a not-for-profit organisation which organises volunteers to make wraps from knitted squares. The wraps are then sent to communities around the world to help those less fortunate.
Everyone is welcome to join - whether an experienced knitter or a beginner!
Please bring 8 ply yarn and no. 8 or 4mm knitting needles.
Concord and Five Dock libraries are drop off points for completed squares, wraps, donations of wool and knitting needles.
