Ferragosto

Ferragosto, now entering its 29th year, continues to be Sydney’s premier Italian street festival—a lively celebration of culture, heritage, and community. This iconic festival showcases the best of Italian food, culture and heritage and is a symbol of the Italian community's contribution to Sydney’s cultural landscape. ​ 

Attracting over 100,000 festival goers, it is a fun, family day out with vibrant performances, community activities, bustling market stalls, food, drinks and live cooking demonstrations.

Halloween

On 31 October, the streets of Majors Bay Road in Concord transform into a haunted wonderland for our Halloween Festival. From 5–9 pm, the street comes alive with a thrilling trick-or-treat trail, face painting, roving performers, live music, street games, and more.  

The Halloween Festival on Majors Bay Road started as a local initiative spearheaded by the local business chamber, with support from City of Canada Bay. Over the years, it has grown into one of the area's most anticipated community events, drawing thousands of visitors. 

Foreshore Flicks

Foreshore Flicks brings the magic of movies to the great outdoors! Foreshore Flicks will return in January 2026 with an outdoor cinema event at different parks. 

Foreshore Flicks is a fantastic way to bring our community together to enjoy our beautiful parks and open spaces. This family-friendly cinema experience presents a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to get together, enjoy the outdoors and soak up the last of the summer vibes.  

With beautiful locations, entertainment, food trucks, and activities for the kids before the movie begins, this event has all the ingredients for the perfect summer night out!
