  • Provide a copy of the minor works approval letter
  • Provide a detailed description of the proposed works, and where relevant, sketches of work and plans
  • Provide before, during, and after works colour photographs

To find out if your property is listed as a heritage item refer to Schedule 5 of the Canada Bay Local Environmental Plan of the Canada Bay Development Control Plan. You can also search the property details on Council's Property Enquiry tool.

To find out if your property is a contributory property in a heritage conservation area refer to Appendix 1 Canada Bay Development Control Plan.

The aims of the fund are to:

  • Encourage work to contributory buildings in heritage conservation areas in order to enhance the contribution the place makes to the heritage values of the area
  • Help residents by assisting with the cost of conservation works
  • Encourage greater interest and awareness for conservation of heritage places within the City of Canada Bay
