3D Modelling for Kids: Bubble Wands

Interested in learning how to design and create 3D objects? We’ll introduce you to 3D modelling!

In this workshop, participants will explore the basics of 3D modelling with Tinkercad to create a 3D model of their very own bubble wand! A bubble wand is a tool used to create soap bubbles, typically consisting of a loop that is dipped into a bubble solution and then waved through the air to produce bubbles.

In this session, we will design a unique bubble wand from scratch, as participants learn:

• How to combine basic shapes to make a more complicated object
• How to edit the model, add text, and more

Tinkercad is free to use online, so everyone can continue modelling at home after the session.

This event is suitable for children aged 8+ who have experience using a computer. 

We design the learning and social experience of our workshops very carefully, and it is important for the enjoyment and safety of all participants that your child is within the age range for this program.
