Decoding toddler behaviour

Drummoyne Community Centre View in maps

Join Drummoyne Community Centre for an interactive two-day course that will help you decode toddler behaviours. Some topics covered include:

  • How to navigate transitions and support your toddler to cope with change
  • Discover the three key areas where toddlers will show the greatest resistance
  • Why tantrums happen, how to manage and prevent them from escalating
  • Tips to help your toddler thrive socially and emotionally
  • Implement the Four Step System to maintain your parent sanity.

In this course, you will gain key insights into the world of toddlers. You will be invited to step into the world of your toddler and view it through a different lens. When we know better, we do better, and our children benefit and thrive as a result.

The course will offer a perfect mix of research, theory and practical application. You will have the opportunity to put the theory into practice after session one and further ‘tweak’ or add a new skill to implement at home after session two.

Both sessions will have an opportunity to participate in a Q&A. This is a parent only program and childminding is not offered.

The workshops will be facilitated by Dympna Kennedy. Priority is given to residents of the City of Canada Bay area or surrounding suburbs.
