Come and learn about renewable energy like solar power while simultaneously helping less fortunate children living in energy poverty around the world.
Join us at the Learning Space for a free workshop on using the sun to address energy poverty. You will assemble a solar light that will be delivered to children in developing countries to aid them in continuing their studies after dark. Through the Solar Buddy program, you can also write a personal letter to be sent alongside the light to the child. If you would like to learn more about this initiative, you can visit the Solar Buddy website at solarbuddy.org.
SolarBuddy is a registered Australian charity dedicated to educating and empowering the next generation to change the lives of children living in energy poverty through its innovative school education and corporate engagement programs.
AGE GROUP: 8 to 14 years
We design the learning and social experience of our workshops very carefully, and it is important for the enjoyment and safety of all participants that your child is within the age range for this program.
