Do you have a terrific, testing or tricky toddler?

Drummoyne Community Centre will be hosting free Zoom workshops that explore how to manage and minimise tantrums as well as how to help your child recover. The sessions will also cover how to overcome fussy eating, how to build good self-esteem, plus other tricky parenting hurdles.

The workshops will be held via Zoom on Monday 15 and 22 June from 89pm.

Session 1: "More Peas Please" and tantrum triggers

  • Do you have a fussy or picky eater?
  • Why communication is key to overcoming fussy eating 
  • Four key components that lead to "More Peas Please."
  • Why tantrums seem to be worse in public than at home
  • Why toddlers don't listen and how to manage meltdowns.

Session 2: Good self-esteem

  • How to build good self-esteem and why it is important 
  • Why it is important to give your child skills to overcome setbacks
  • Tweaking your conversations to set your child up for success
  • Q&A session.
