The Preparing for Adolescence Workshop is for parents of pre-teens aged 8-12 years old.
For parents, connecting with children during emotional moments is one of the most rewarding, yet sometime most difficult parts of parenting. It can become especially challenging when children move into adolescence.
This online workshop looks at what is happening to children in adolescence. It explores emotional competence/intelligence and why these skills are important, as well as how parents can help their kids develop emotional wellbeing.
This event is coordinated by the Drummoyne Community Centre, and sponsored by the City of Canada Bay Council and the NSW Department of Communities & Justice.
This workshop costs $15.
