Connecting Rhodes to the future

“The Connection at Rhodes is our biggest ever infrastructure project, worth $21 million,” he said.

“This is a major development, which will transform Rhodes into the City’s heart for civic, business, cultural and artistic celebration, set to open in the third quarter of 2016.”

The precinct will bring many long term benefits to Rhodes, including increasing visitor numbers, boosting jobs and facilitating broader community engagement.

The Connection features a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces that are socially, environmentally and financially sustainable, offering something for everyone.

Council is calling for expressions of interest from individuals, community organisations, businesses and groups wanting to hire space within the facility for one-off and recurrent bookings.

The precinct will operate seven days per week and comprise four main buildings;
