Replace a Parking Permit

Everything you need to know to renew or replace a parking permit

Permit Expiry and Renewal

If your current Residential or Parks Parking Permit expires on 30/06/2026, you must apply for a new permit for the next permit period (expiring 30/06/2029).

Change of Vehicle Details

If your vehicle has changed due to sale or replacement, or if a company car has been updated, you must apply for a replacement permit.

A replacement permit application must be submitted, confirming the new vehicle details and advising which existing permit is to be cancelled.

 

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Permits

If your vehicle registration has not changed, but your parking permit has been lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed, we can arrange a replacement for you.

What to do

Please email customer.service@canadabay.nsw.gov.au with the following details:

  • Full name
  • Contact phone number
  • Vehicle registration number
  • Permit type

Once we receive your email, our team will contact you to organise a permit reprint.

Permit Types

Reprint permits are available for:

  • Residential Parking Permit
  • Cabarita & Bayview Parks Permit
  • Business Parking Permit (Areas 1–5)

Documents to Prepare

To apply for a replacement permit, you must provide:

  • A copy of your vehicle registration certificate (must show your name and residential address)
  • Current driver’s licence
