3D Print Club - Special Guest Presentation

The Connection View in maps

3D Print Club is back for 2021!

For this session we're joined by special guest Cameron Angus, Fabrication Technician at the ANFF (Australian National Fabrication Facilities) at the University of Wollongong.

Cameron is part of a team that operates and maintains some of the best 3D printing capabilities in the country. With a degree in mechatronic engineering, he uses his skills to facilitate research, realise commercial projects and make the best Christmas presents his friends have ever seen.

Cameron will be discussing the impact 3D printing has had on the manufacturing industry, what the current state of the technology is, and what changes are still to come. He'll also talk about the 3D printing capabilities at the University of Wollongong and how they're used to fabricate customised bio-printers for education and research.

We're thrilled to welcome Cameron back to Rhodes to hear about his experience working at the forefront of 3D printing, manufacturing and medicine.

This presentation is perfect for anyone curious about new technologies and their applications, no previous experience with 3D printing is required.
