Australian Heritage Festival: Susannah Fullerton on Henry Lawson

Australian Heritage Festival: Susannah Fullerton on Henry Lawson

Five Dock Library View in maps

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Henry Lawson whose poems and short stories captured the spirit of the Australia of his time. Born in Grenfell on 17 June 1867, he spent the last period of his life at Abbotsford, where he died in 1922.

Join us for an inspiring evening with Susannah Fullerton for a talk about Henry Lawson's life and work. Susannah is well known for her talks which truly breathe life into great literature.

Susannah Fullerton's talk complements a photographic exhibition on Henry Lawson at the library. Both events coincide with the Australian Heritage Festival, 18 April-21 May.
