BOOKINGS OPEN ON MONDAY, 29 OCTOBER 2018 AT 9 AM
Furoshiki, the traditional Japanese wrapping cloth is used to wrap things. It has more than 1,200 years-old history and had been widely used until the end of the Edo Period. It started out as the cloth in which people carried their clothes, but later it came to be used to carry or to wrap almost anything of various shapes.
This Christmas, ditch the wrapping paper and learn the art of furoshiki, an eco-friendly and creative way to wrap your gifts this season. It's fun, functional, and easy, and it's the perfect holiday crafternoon project with friends to knock out all that gift wrapping without the guilt of paper and plastic waste.
Bring along your gifts and fabric to wrap in class or use the samples we have in class.
