Meet the Author: Heather Hawkins

At 41, with two teenagers and an unadventurous life, Heather Hawkins called her doctor and began an incredible journey from an ordinary life to one of extraordinary adventure.

Five years after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Heather has run more than 18 marathons, including the North Pole Marathon in 2015.

From fun runs to ultra marathons and adventures still to come, Heather honours all the women who have encountered cancer, and encourages us all to live life to the fullest.
