Wildlife Mates - help wildlife affected by bushfires

Did you know Australia has the most hollow-dependent wildlife in the world? Tree hollows support a huge variety of our beloved native animals, like sugar gliders, kookaburras, microbats, owls, galahs, cockatoos and possums, for nesting, roosting and shelter. Unfortunately, the recent 2019-20 summer bushfires, thousands of out local wildlife have lost their homes and feeding grounds.

To help rebuild the biodiversity in NSW's bushfires affected regions, Council has partnered with Animal Rescue Cooperative (ARC), to help source materials to support the efforts of wildlife rescue organisations. We need your help to make and donate materials required for orphaned animals that are currently in care and for future recovery efforts.

To find out how you can help, visit the Wildlife Mates page or call Council's Sustainability Team at 9911 6555.
