After extensive research and consultation with the community, Council identified six projects which include enhancements to local parks, sporting facility upgrades and road safety improvements that will be recommended to the NSW Minister for Planning and Infrastructure.
The projects will be funded by Breakfast Point developer, the Rose Group as part of the Community Enhancement Plan for the development.
“We have consulted widely with our community about various projects and the final six that were recommended will greatly improve the local area,” Mayor Tsirekas said.
"The Community Enhancement Plan and the list of projects will now be forwarded to the NSW Minister for Planning and Infrastructure for final approval.
“When we receive approval, the funds can be released for the projects and a program of works will be developed.”
