April author talks at Concord Library

Greg Maunsell, researcher of the Breakfast Point War Memorial and Jane Caro, author of For God’s Sake will join us at Concord Library on 15 April.

Breakfast Point resident Greg Maunsell has researched the names of those listed on the Breakfast Point War Memorial (formerly the AGL War Memorial) to create a web page in their honour. Greg will share the vivid and moving stories of the men associated with the Mortlake Gasworks who perished in the First World War.

Author, lecturer and media commentator, Jane Caro will join us for an interesting evening at Concord Library. The former panellist of the Gruen Transfer will be discussing her latest publications For God’s sake: an Atheist, a Jew, a Christian and a Muslim Debate Religion and Destroying the Joint: Why Women have to Change the World, a book of essays edited by Jane.

Tuesday, 15 April at 6.30pm for 7pm start Concord Library Free (light refreshments provided)
