Good Food Month comes to Concord

Community & events | 08 October 2019

Discover the secrets behind the oldest butcher in NSW during Good Food Month in Concord.

I am thrilled to announce our partnership with Friends of Good Food Month this year,” City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said.

“Majors Bay Road in Concord is a favourite foodie haven and we have five culinary experiences on offer as part of Good Food Month.”

“From kids cooking classes, walking food tours and a singles aperitivo night, there's something for everyone.”

Walking tour participants will enjoy tastings at Chilcott’s Butcher, the oldest butcher in NSW that was opened a year before the Harbour Bridge was finished.

Kids can create their own amazing pizza with the help and talented skills of Paolo Gatto, chef of local favourite Pari Pasticerria.

The 2019 Friends of Good Food Month event series sees leading restaurants curate and host unique experiences to best showcase their culinary excellence.

“This year our events in the series, run by Carmel from Sicilian Food Tours, sit alongside the likes of Chiswick at the Gallery and a raclette night at Loluk Bistro.”

Now in its 21st year, Good Food Month is famed for bringing together talented chefs and dynamic flavours from a local and international stage.
