The event is run by Communities for Communities and coincides with Chinese New Year celebrations, with this year being the Year of the Horse.
“We have a fun afternoon planned with activities for the whole family including the screening of a Disney favourite, Mulan,” Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said.
This free family event includes plenty of entertainment, food and activities starting from 4pm; there will be a Mounted Police Demo at 5pm, followed by the screening of Mulan at 8pm. The evening will conclude with fireworks at 9.30pm. There will also be food stalls, Chinese dancers, Lion dancing and music throughout the evening.
