Stop the tossers in Canada Bay

A new educational campaign shaming litterbugs and promoting a clean city has been launched in Canada Bay, says Mayor Angelo Tsirekas.

‘Stop Litter in the Bay’ aims to discourage littering in Canada Bay and has started with all Council vehicles featuring a sticker reminding people to keep the city clean.

“As well as discouraging littering, this campaign is also a handy reminder to our community about enforceable littering penalties”, Mayor Tsirekas said.

“It is a light-hearted way to send a strong message about keeping Canada Bay clean.”
