Make Music Day is a free global celebration of music on 21 June.    Creating opportunities for amateur and professional musicians alike, Make Music Day encourages musicians of all ages and abilities to participate on the day. The City of Canada Bay in partnership with Rhodes Waterside Shopping Centre invites all local musicians to register to play at the dedicated Make Music Day Outdoor Busking Spaces.

Mangroves are more than just trees with weird roots, smells and mozzies! They are highly valuable ecosystems that play an essential part in providing a safe refuge for aquatic organisms. They filter our waterways, provide local habitat and assist in preventing flood impacts.

Join us for an afternoon of creativity as we work with one plant subject, the mangroves. This class will build your art skills by demonstration of techniques with ink, paint and gold leaf.The emphasis will be on close observation of the mangroves and create an art piece that is truly unique and meaningful.
