The City of Canada Bay is calling for community representatives for a number of our committees.

Council committees are a great way for the community and Council to work together on a range of important issues to ensure a wide range of views are represented. We aim to have representation from a diverse and balanced range of stakeholders on each committee.

Council is seeking feedback on the Planning Proposal (the Proposal) to amend the Canada Bay Local Environmental Plan 2013 (LEP) and associated maps.  The Proposal will address a number of miscellaneous drafting anomalies including incorrect heritage listings and mapping errors related to height of buildings, floor space ratio and zoning, as well as amendments to Clause 3.3 (Environmentally sensitive areas excluded), Clause 6.3 (Terrestrial biodiversity), additional permitted uses and the removal of Residential Flat Buildings as a permissible use within the B4 Mixed Use zone.
