Chiswick Bushcare Group

Bushcare is a volunteer program that enables community members to participate in the restoration, enhancement and maintenance of natural areas within the City of Canada Bay.

Locals embarked on a Bushcare journey in late 2003 to rehabilitate a neglected and overgrown area of foreshore at Figtree Bay Reserve. Coastal sandstone vegetation is being established on the site to provide a welcoming natural habitat for native birds and animals to use.

Meets: Every second Saturday of the month at Figtree Bay Reserve, Fortescue Street, Chiswick.

Time: 8.30-11.30am
