To celebrate International Day of People with Disability, Ebenezer Mission will host an event supported by the City of Canada Bay at The Connection in Rhodes on Saturday, 2 December from 11am–4pm!
This day is about challenging the way you think about disability and helping to build a more inclusive community. There will be music, dance and an art exhibition featuring performances and works by people with disability, plus a coffee cart and sausage sizzles.
There will also be information stalls and fundraising for disability job training and employment.
Walk with us against domestic and family violence!
As part of The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, the City of Canada Bay alongside Inner West Council, Inner West Domestic Violence Committee and NSW Police are partnering to coordinate a walk against domestic violence – and the community is invited to join us.
We'll be walking from Rodd Park, Rodd Point along the Bay Run to Peace Park, Lilyfield (distance walking: 2 kilometres). Remember to bring comfortable walking shoes, water, hat and a homemade sign.
