Come along to learn salsa dancing with the Chiswick Community Activities Group this October.

Salsa keeps your mind active, your feet moving and you get the opportunity to meet lots of happy, friendly people! Try it, you'll like it.

This eight-week course runs on Thursdays from 20 October to 8 December. Singles and couples are welcome.

The Chiswick Community Activities Group is supported by the City of Canada Bay.

At the November 2021 Council Meeting, Councillors resolved to give in-principle support to installing a pedestrian crossing on Barnstaple Road for Russell Lea Public School students and the broader community. Council also resolved to investigate a traffic refuge or appropriate safety measures on Brent Street, as well as several other investigations regarding pedestrian safety improvements.

At present there is no designated point to assist pedestrians in crossing Barnstaple Road and Brent Street in the vicinity of Russell Lea Public School.
