Tech Savvy Seniors: Introduction to the Internet

Everyone can benefit from being online and connected no matter where they live, how old they are, or where their interests lie. The Tech Savvy Seniors program is a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra, offering free technology training sessions for seniors.

Join us for a workshop that will teach participants how to use the internet more effectively.

Bookings are essential, book below or call 9911 6310.

Seniors Festival: History walking tour

Seniors Festival: History walking tour

Meet our Local Studies Librarian at the Canada Bay Museum for a 2.5-hour walk along Majors Bay Road and an exploration of the history of Concord. On the walk you will learn about the Indigenous history of the area, then Isaac Nichols, the Canadian Exiles, plus WW1 and the local flicks. We also hope to answer the question: Who was the Major that Majors Bay was named after?

Please bring hat, water and sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes. This walk requires moderate fitness and participants will meet at the City of Canada Bay Museum allowing you to explore the collections there.
