Held annually in July, NAIDOC Week is celebrated across Australia to acknowledge the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year, City of Canada Bay is working with Koori Kinnections to offer primary school children the opportunity to learn about Aboriginal cultures, history, environment, and tools within our newly established 5 Senses Garden in Rhodes Park. Children will get a chance to paint their faces with ochre, play traditional games and taste delicious bush foods!
