You may have heard about the Street Library movement: Little free libraries popping up in front yards and street corners around the country, where people can spread the joy of reading by leaving books for neighbours and passers-by to share.
We are looking for 12 people or organisations around the City to host a library and become Street Librarians. We will provide a fully assembled (but unpainted) Street Library, free of charge.
Mangroves along Canada Bay and Homebush Bay provide a sheltered habitat for a wide variety of native and aquatic animals. Brimming with life, mangroves are feeding grounds and nurseries for a variety of fish, molluscs and crustaceans.
