If you are holding a registration day or a school fête and you would like to place a banner within the City of Canada Bay you must notify Council by completing a Temporary Sign/Banner Display application through the online booking portal
The City of Canada Bay has several parks that are very popular for hosting weddings and for photography.
The two most appropriate locations are Cabarita Park and Prince Edward Park. Both have rotunda areas that can be booked for exclusive use, and several waterfront areas that are suitable for photos. The picturesque locations in City of Canada Bay are very popular area for filming with more than 32km of foreshore, bays and inlets providing some wonderful backdrops.
To apply for permission to film in our area please complete the Filming and Photography application form or for minor filming and photography complete the Filming and Photography - Minor application form.

Council's community parks are generally free for the whole community to use and enjoy. Use of these facilities is therefore on a first come, first served basis and they cannot be booked for exclusive use. This applies to park benches, barbecues, seats and other facilities. For picnics or private (i.e. not corporate) gatherings, you do not need to notify Council if the group is less than 80 people, unless you wish to have a jumping castle, then you will need to complete a booking through the online booking portal.
If you would like to hold a Community Event you will need to complete an Event Bookings application form.
