Astronomy Workshop with Koori Kinnections (Ages 8-12)

Join Trent Kelly from Koori Kinnections for a fun, hands-on workshop exploring how Aboriginal people read the stars to know when to hunt, gather food, and travel.

Hear the story of the Three Boys and their Canoe (Orion’s Belt), make a small nawi (paperbark canoe) to take home, and learn how the stars can guide us on Country today.

This event is for children aged 8–12 only. Participants who are not within this age range will not be permitted into the event.

Photos and video may be taken during the event and shared across the library's and Council's communication channels (including but not limited to social media and eNewsletters). Please notify a staff member if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.
