Author talk: Jack Beaumont

Concord Library View in maps

Join us for an author talk with Jack Beaumont, the pseudonym of a former operative in the clandestine operations branch of the French foreign secret service, the DGSE. He joined 'The Company' after being an air force fighter pilot and later flying special operations and intelligence missions. Beaumont's background gives his novels a level of authenticity that few other spy thrillers have been able to achieve.

Jack's first novel, The Frenchman introduced readers to the character of Alec de Payns, and now Alec is back in Jack's latest book Dark Arena.

Better Read than Dead bookshop will be there on the night selling copies of Jack's books.

Drinks and nibbles will be served from 6pm.
