About the book
The Paris Resistance is a story of courage, resistance, betrayal, and revenge.
Miriam was a member of the resistance in Paris. Pierre fought with the Maquis in central France. Both risked their lives to save their beloved country from the Nazis, and both lost their families.
VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) was declared on 8th May 1945, but for Miriam and Pierre, the war was not over. A burning need for retribution drove them on, but in the end, they had to decide whether seeking vengeance was merely perpetuating the same poison.
