  • How to keep cool air in and hot air out — and why it matters for comfort and energy efficiency
  • An introduction to the 'one room strategy'
  • Budget-friendly ways to improve comfort in both summer and winter
  • Tips for dressing and staying active with heat and cold in mind

Participants are encouraged to bring copies of their electricity and gas bills for discussion.

Jo Taranto is a sustainability communicator and educator based in North Ryde. She is passionate about helping people live safely, comfortably, and sustainably in their communities.

Each of our libraries at Concord, Five Dock, and The Learning Space at Rhodes has a Home Energy Kit that can be borrowed by library members who are City of Canada Bay residents.
