Prince Edward Park View in maps

Bushcare is a volunteer program that enables community members to participate in the restoration, enhancement and maintenance of natural areas within the City of Canada Bay.

Members of Cabarita Bushcare Group are working to preserve the endangered coastal saltmarsh vegetation along the Prince Edward Park foreshore. While the site is relatively small, it contains extensive areas of saltmarsh species, as well as the City’s only known patch of spinifex grass.

Meets: Every third Thursday of the month at Prince Edward Park, end of Phillips Street, Cabarita

Time: 9am-noon (8.30-11.30am during warmer months)

Please wear sturdy closed shoes, comfortable clothes and a hat.

New volunteers must contact City of Canada Bay Bushcare before volunteering for the first day. Registered volunteers will receive a monthly notification regarding workday details.
