Concord Bushcare Group

Bushcare is a volunteer program that enables community members to participate in the restoration, enhancement and maintenance of natural areas within the City of Canada Bay.

The Concord Bushcare Group has been working to restore remnants of the endangered Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest in Queen Elizabeth II Park for over 20 years. The group also works within the Estuarine Vegetation Complexes found at Lovedale Place, Concord West and Quarantine Reserve, Abbotsford.

Meets: Every first and third Wednesday of the month.

Time: 8.30 -11.30am.

Please wear sturdy closed shoes, comfortable clothes and a hat.

New volunteers must contact City of Canada Bay Bushcare before volunteering for the first day. Registered volunteers will receive a monthly notification regarding workday details.
