Concord Community Centre View in maps

Come visit the Concord Community Garden for their Open Day on Sunday, 19 October 2025 between 10am-2pm. The community is invited to explore the gardens, chat with CCG members, and connect with others to grow their gardening knowledge.

There will be plenty to do at the open day:

  • Composting and Worm-farming workshop with Urban Grow: Join Steven Walker in a fun, hands-on workshop, where he takes an in-depth look at how to turn your household waste into the most amazing resource for your garden. Register for the workshop here.
  • Compost bin and worm-farm giveaway: Residents who registered for the giveaway can pick up their compost bin or worm-farm, as a part of City of Canada Bay's Compost Capers program, before exploring the gardens.
  • Inner West Beekeepers will have a stall to educate the community all about bees! From bee biology and habits, responsible beekeeping basics and the vital role that bees play in our ecosystems and food production.
  • Neighbourhood Green will have a stall to educate the community about microgreens and how they can be nutritional powerhouses
  • Plant sales (cash only)

Concord Community Gardens are located behind the Concord Community Centre - 1A Gipps St, Concord NSW 2137.
