Dying to Know Day is about building compassionate communities and helping people prepare for the end of life. Join us for an engaging afternoon of conversation, connection and planning at this half-day event designed for residents, carers and families – with presentations, panel discussions, and a chance to connect with local organisations and palliative care specialists. Event highlights include:

  • Light refreshments on arrival
  • Keynote speech by Kylie Ash from Advance Care Planning Australia
  • Personal stories
  • Presentations on Advance Care Planning and Funeral Planning
  • Access resources and support from a wide range of organisations
  • Interactive Q&A and panel discussion moderated by Caroline Baume, journalist, author and podcaster. 

Presented by Inner West Council, Sydney Local Health District Palliative Care Team, City of Canada Bay, City of Canterbury Bankstown, Healthy Ageing Hubs Ashfield (3 Bridges), and Newtown (Newtown Neighbourhood Centre).
