Edible weeds foraging walk

You will never look at weeds in the same way again after taking part in this workshop.

Join wild food expert Diego Bonetto on a 2.5-hour stroll in Field of Mars Reserve, East Ryde, and learn about the most common edible and medicinal plants that surround us.

This workshop will teach you about the role weeds play in repairing and building soil, as well as ways to safely harvest from the urban areas and enrich your diet. The workshop is designed to provide participants with solid skills on plant identification, re-learning old stories while paying respect to public and ancient resources.

Limited places are available and registrations are required. Priority will be given to residents of the City of Canada Bay. Proof of residency may be required.
