Footpath Restoration - Concord Road

City of Canada Bay is currently repairing footpaths along Conord Road between Harrison Avenue and Homebush Bay Drive. The repairs are due to excavation works carried out by Ausgrid in the footpath.

Works will be undertaken between 27 November and 1 December 2017, weather permitting.

Due to the work site being a State Road, Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) must approve the works and provide allocated times when such work can take place. In this instance, work time has been restricted between 9pm-5am.

To minimise noise, Council's contractor will carry out saw cutting befire midnight. The contractor will also ensure that access into properties adjacent to the work site is possible during both day and night.

There will be excavating and trucks delivering concrete between 9pm and 5am, and the contractor will have traffic control in place to ease any congestion during these hours.
