Free expectant parents program

Having a baby is an opportunity for new beginnings and new relationships as you build your family life together. The challenge for new parents is that it can also bring emotional changes.

This program is an opportunity for couples to come together prior to the birth of their babies to increase the knowledge and skills needed to become the parents they want to be. Along the way you will find out about local services, reflect on becoming a parent, and connect with other expectant parents.

The program will include a Zoom workshop on Saturday, 11 July from 10am–12pm.

Presenters include:

• A child and family health nurse
• An early childcare educator
• A men's parent group leader
• A parent educator.

The Expectant Parents Program is supported by:

• Drummoyne Community Centre
• The City of Canada Bay
• The Sydney Local Health District
• The NSW Department of Communities and Justice.
