International Women's Day fundraiser

Come down to the stunning Cabarita Park Conservatory for a delicious International Women’s Day fundraiser breakfast this Thursday.

Organised by The Bloody Great Committee and sponsored by City of Canada Bay, this event promises to be an inspiring morning celebrating our local women and supporting a great cause.

2016 Drummoyne Woman of the Year – A/Prof Judith Trotman, Director of the Haematology Clinical Research Unit at Concord Hospital. The formidable leader of the life-saving clinical trials for hundreds of blood cancer patients, and mother of six.

2017 City of Canada Bay’s Citizen of the Year – Alice Kang, Director of Marketing and Community Relations at Concord Hospital. The driving force behind the hospital’s events and fundraisers and a tireless advocate for our veterans.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the world-leading clinical trials for blood cancer patients at Concord Hospital - cutting-edge research which evaluates the safety and benefits of emerging therapies, giving patients with blood cancer a better quality of life and hope for a cure.
