Join Us! 'Let's Play' review advisory committee

The ‘Let’s Play’ Review Advisory Committee is designated to oversee the review of City of Canada Bay’s ‘Let’s Play’ strategy, and to guide the provision and management of playgrounds. 

Positions for two community representatives and one playground expert from within the community are available on the committee. Committee meetings are scheduled to occur every four to six weeks over a six month period during the evening.

A review of ‘Let’s Play’ will ensure that the future provision of ‘play’ remains relevant and accessible to all members of the community, adapting to changes in community demographics and responding to social requirements. It will also ensure assets are maintained in a financially sustainable manner.

All members will have a passion for the future of play in Canada Bay.

The playground expert from within the community will also have experience or qualifications in an area of expertise of benefit to the committee's work.

Council committees are an excellent way for the community and Council to work together on a range of important issues ensuring a wide range of views are represented. If you live, work, study, own a business or volunteer in the City of Canada Bay, you are eligible to submit an application.

Applications are open until Friday, 6 July 2018.
