To mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, we're inviting senior residents to join a special event focused on helping seniors stay healthy and safe as they get older.

The 'Keeping Healthy and Safe As We Age' event will feature a video and panel discussion, service provider stalls, performances by a local Chinese drumming troupe and the Old Time Jazz band, and lunch.

The panel will be moderated by the Older Women's Network and includes representatives from:

  • The NSW Ageing and Disability Commission
  • NSW Police 
  • Seniors Rights Service
  • Sydney Local Health District
  • Relationships Australia
  • City of Canterbury Bankstown Multicultural Officer.
