Makerspace Induction Session

Makerspace Induction Session

The Learning Space View in maps

Are you a tinkerer, designer or crafter? Perhaps you're a budding engineer? If you need some time, space or expert help to pursue a passion project, why not join our community of makers!

Come along to our induction session and get familiar with the facilities at The Learning Space. After a safety induction you’ll have access to 3D printers, soldering irons, hand tools, electronics, a die-cutter, and a sewing machine for self-directed use on Thursday evenings. We also have laptops with specialist software for 3D modelling and visual design.

Whether you're learning a new skill, finishing an old project, or just want to get inspired — come and see what’s possible at The Learning Space.

This session is free, friendly, and for anyone aged 16+ years. No prior experience is necessary. Library membership is required.

For more information, email thelearningspace@canadabay.nsw.gov.au.

The health and safety of our community remains our top priority. This is a COVID safe event. Council is following the latest State and Federal health guidelines, and if any COVID-19 restrictions increase, this event may be cancelled or postponed.
