Discover the vibrant evolution of Australian embroidery from domestic craft to artistic expression at the Embroiders Guild exhibition, Moving the Needle: The Australian Embroidery Revolution.

The exhibition will display spectacular Australian embroidery and textile art from the 1950s to today. Starting from just $10, visitors can join talks, tours, conferences and workshops for beginners through to experts. There will also be an offering for children in the July holidays.

  • 17-21 June: Traditionally Contemporary with Jo Dixey

  • 23 June: Moving the Needle – one-day conference
