Join the very talented Noni Cragg for this fascinating NAIDOC Week drawing workshop. Noni is a portrait artist inspired by culture, colour and people. Based in Sydney's Inner West, Noni grew up in and around the suburbs of the City of Canada Bay. She is of Irish, Scottish and First Nations heritage; Bundjalung and Biripai. Working also as a writer, actor, model and activist; Noni has exhibited work and delivered children and youth workshops all across Australia.
In this special online drawing workshop, you will get to hear all about Noni and her work, see her in action, and create alongside her as she takes you through a step-by-step of how to bring your very own designs to life. All you need are some colouring in materials - pencils, textas, crayons, paints, or whatever else you would like to use - and a copy of the five designs especially created for this workshop.
Designs can be downloaded below, or you can pick up copies from any one of our libraries from Wednesday, 4 November.
Suitable for primary school aged children but open to all.
