National Tree Day 2017

National Tree Day 2017

Queen Elizabeth Park, Concord View in maps

Join us in celebrating Planet Ark’s National Tree Day at Queen Elizabeth Park on Sunday, 30 July, 2017.

On National Tree Day we will meet at Queen Elizabeth Park for a planting day and barbecue.

The park contains a significant remnant of the endangered ecological community, Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest. Council is committed to the ongoing recovery of this regionally significant vegetation community and supports bushcare activities in the park.

The more hands on deck the better, so bring the whole family down for a morning of helping our environment.

Please wear appropriate clothing (hat, long-sleeved shirt and long pants are recommended), enclosed shoes and sunscreen.

For more information please contact Council’s Bushcare team on 9911 6555 or by emailing bushcare@canadabay.nsw.gov.au
