Native plant giveaway and workshop

Are you a City of Canada Bay resident who wants to plant natives in your garden but don't know where to start? Come along to Concord Farmers Market on 20 June and claim up to three free native plants.

If you are not familiar with Australian native plants and want to learn more before making your selection, join us for an engaging mini workshop to learn all about Australian native plants and trees. At this workshop you will learn about:

• Understanding your site's opportunities and challenges
• How to arrange and choose native plants to grow in your garden or balcony
• Maintenance of native plants — fertilizing, pruning, etc
• Pest and disease control.

To claim your free plants, bring along your photo ID and/or your rates notice to verify your residency status.
