Nature Photography Workshop for Adults

Nature Photography Workshop for Adults

Queen Elizabeth Park View in maps

You're invited to join us for a photography workshop to mark World Wildlife Day, a day to celebrate the world's plants and animals and raise awareness of issues impacting our wildlife.

Come along on a nature walk through Queen Elizabeth Park with photographer Angela Robertson-Buchanan, who will guide you and offer tips for photographing nature.

On the walk you'll spot native flora and fauna, as you stop at points of interest, listening out for birds and searching for critters on trees and shrubs. You will also learn about habitats and behaviours of your subjects and be set fun photo challenges throughout the walk.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and there are limited spots available so book in quickly!

What to bring:

Camera (all kinds welcome; DSLR or Mirrorless Camera*, compact point and shoot or smartphone), spare battery/memory card, water, hat, sunscreen, mozzie repellent, wet weather gear and closed-toe shoes for walking. You may also like to bring a small picnic rug to lie/sit on when stopping to take photos on the grass.
